At the Greater Good Foundation, we believe that a good learning space is crucial for nurturing students' growth and development. Our School Support Program is committed to transforming low-income and government schools by improving their infrastructure and providing the resources necessary for a better learning experience. Through the renovation of classrooms, provision of essential materials, and enhancement of sanitation facilities, we aim to create an environment where children can thrive, excel, and build a brighter future.

1.Nirmala Devi Chintamani Dighe Ashramshala

Nirmala Devi Chintamani Dighe Ashramshala is a residential school cum orphanage for children coming from bottom of the pyramid income families. The school annually identifies low-income families in Badlapur and surrounding areas who are unable to provide for their children, and the school shelters the children. Schbang collaborated with the school for their long-term development and upliftment of infrastructural and educational requirements.

2. Agrasen Hindi Vidyalaya

Agrasen Hindi Vidyalaya is a Hindi medium school in the Vikhroli part of the city and caters to 305 students from 1st to 10th Grade. With one of the most experienced teachers, the school has successively built a stellar reputation for their education outcomes. However, being a low budget private school, it still faces challenges in various aspects. One of them being no toilet facility for girls.

3.Holy Mother English Medium School

Holy Mother English Medium School is a low budget Private School in Malvani, Mumbai’s second largest slum area mostly housing migrant workers. Holy Mother school caters to 1,100+ children from families living in the community. One of the larger education providers in the community, Holy Mother school operates in a very challenging climate with a commendable number of children.

4.Holy Star English Medium School

Holy Star English Medium School is a low budget Private School in Malvani with close proximity to the Schbang’s supported schools in the area. However, Holy Star School is the most unique one in its student strength and challenges. With the largest strength, Holy Star School caters to 1,377 students annually with over 30+ teachers. The school is mapped like a labyrinth in efforts to squeeze just one more classroom everytime! We admire their passion to educate!

5. Tawheed English Medium School

Tawheed English Medium School is a low budget Private School in Malvani, Mumbai’s second largest slum area mostly housing migrant workers. Tawheed school caters to 650 children from families living in the community. The school provides pre-school, primary and secondary grades from K-10. Apart from obvious financial challenges, the school also faces socio-economic, communal, resource-related challenges, yet strives to provide education facilities.

6. Gurukul English High School

Gurukul English High School, is a low income school situated in Malvani region of Malad, the school caters to around 1200 + students with over 25+ teachers, the school is located in the interior of the slum and is divided into separate sections.

7. Holy Mother School Kandivali

A low income school operating in the slum of charkop, benefiting 400 students

8. Z.P.School Nadgaon (WIP)

A Marathi medium school, educating over 100 students from classes 1 to 7, primarily serves a population where 70% of the students come from tribal backgrounds. The school operates in two premises. The first premise, which is over 55 years old, has only one washroom that is in poor condition. The second premise, located approximately five minutes away on foot, lacks a washroom entirely. As a result, students from the second premise must walk to the first premise to use the washroom facilities.
